This blog has been up for a while now, and regretfully hasn't been updated as often as initially intended. Going in a somewhat different direction with this, the blog will now be more of a medium to write about what interests me, mainly as an artist. While I do have a great interest in materials used by artists of the past, there are a great number of websites, blogs, and forums devoted to this. My intentions for this blog will be to showcase artists from any time period, or "school", and what they have to teach us, as painters.

I am not a writer, so please bear with me on this, but hopefully my meaning and intentions will be clear. Let me know if you have comments or suggestions for future writings.
